Red Claws Report: Walker continues to shine for Maine

Time now for another installment of "The Red Claws Report", a weekly update at what's going on with the Charlotte Bobcats D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, in which they share with the Boston Celtics.

In their first 4 games of the season, the Red Claws are sitting at 3-1 in the NBA D-League's East Conference, after back-to-back wins over Springfield last weekend. This weekend, the Red Claws travel to Erie to face the BayHawks, before they return home to the Portland Expo to face the Tulsa 66ers on Sunday.

Bill Walker has been doing a tremendous job on his assignment from Boston, and his stats have been skyrocketing in the first 4 games of the 2009-10 D-League season. He still leads the team in points per game(18.8), and minutes per game(29.0), while Alexis Ajinca, who Charlotte sent up to Maine is now the team's leading rebounder, averaging 7.50 per game.
